UNTIMELY DEATHS OF PEOPLE WHO MOCKED GOD
Every religion in the world teaches its adherents/disciples to abide by its laws. Even God Himself prohibits us from challenging authority. No matter how much fame, wealth and success any individual may have, it doesn't give him/her the license that being beyond God's reach.Many have forgotten their Maker, wanting to live their lives the way they want. Below are famous personalities who met their untimely deaths after mocking God John Lennon (Singer) A British legendary singer who co-founded the British Invasion band called "The Beatles" in the 1960s. Lennon and co-writer Paul Mc Cartney wrote hundreds of songs together along with George Harrison and Ringo Starr, and together they remained at the top of the list for a nearly a decade. Ladies, were said to be head over heels in love with John Lennon. In 1966, John Lennon said during an interview: "Christianity will end, vanish and shrink, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that and I will be proved right. I am certain that Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more popular and famous than Him. I don't know which will go first- rock n' roll or Christianity." His remark led to an outrage among his fans and triggered a protest rally where people expressed their anger by setting the vinyl records records and Beatles posters ablaze. In 1970, The Beatles disbanded. 14 years later, John Lennon was shot six times in the head by one of his fanatics, Mark David Chapman in front of his house in New York City on the 8th of December 1980 and died on the spot. Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil) During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes but he fell sick a day before being made President, then he died. Cazuza (Bi-s3xual Brazilian composer, singer and poet During a show in Canecio (Rio de Janeiro) while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: "God, that's for you." He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner. Thomas Andrews (Titanic Ship builder) Thomas Andrews was inspired to build a ship that will be legendary during his time. After the construction of the mighty Titanic, a British luxury liner, a reporter asked how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone, he said: "Not even God can sink it." The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic. Marilyn Monroe (Actress/Hollywood Celebrity) She had a perfect life anyone could ever think or dream of; a remarkable amount of wealth and fame. One day during filming, she was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the preacher had to say, she said: "I don't need your Jesus." A week later, she was found dead in her apartment. Bon Scott The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. Scott in his golden days with the AC/DC since 1974 replaced Dave Evans as the vocalist of the band. On one of his 1979 he sang: "Don't stop me; I'm going all the way, down the highway to hell." On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, choked by his own vomit. Campinas (2005) In Campinas, Brazil, a group of friends, drunk, went to pick up a friend. The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car: "My daughter, go with God and may He protect you." The daughter responded: "Only if He (God) travels in the trunk, 'cos inside here... It's already full." Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident. Everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact. The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken. Christine Hewitt (Jamaican journalist and entertainer) Said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written. In 2006, she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle. Madalyn Murray O'Hair Madalyn Murray O'Hair was an American activist supporting atheism and seperation of church and state. She challenged the policy of mandatory prayers and Bible reading in Baltimore public schools and even mocked the cross. She was kidnapped and murdered along with her son and granddaughter on August 27, 1995. Brandon Lee (Actor) In the making of the movie, "The Cross" mocked the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and was killed by a bullet on set. Dave Williams (Singer) The ex-vocalist of the band "Drowning Pool" released an album labeled 'Sinner' in 2001. Then he died on August 14, 2002 (aged 30) of heart failure. Timothy Treadwell (American bear enthusiast) Mocked and challenged God while filming a documentary and was killed and eaten by a grizzly bear, 16 days later. Many more prominent people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus. It is written in Galatians 6:7: "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he reap." The Lord responded: "Far be it from Me, for those who honor Me; I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed." I Samuel 2:30. No one mocks God and goes unpunished.
