Dreams, Everybody at one point in time in their lives dreamed of something. Whether to become/have or do something, well except for babies.
To prove this,go out and ask as many children aged 5 and above about what they want to be or do in life and you will hear answers like "I want to become a doctor, I want to be a president, I want to be a millionaire, billionaire" etc. but the question is how many of this people are really able to become,do or have all they dreamed about?
The answer is a pathetic few because it is easier to dream as it carries no risk, but the most difficult thing is endeavouring to transform those dreams into reality.
Many young people, as they grow up they become distracted from their path/dreams by peer group influence and other things promising them fake/cheap popularity or happiness and before they realize it lose sight of who they truly are,who they wanted to become, what they wanted to do.
Others quit when the going gets tough or they are faced with temporary hurdles/failures or setbacks and they resigned themselves to their chosen fate saying that maybe it was never meant to be or start blaming others for their failures and misfortunes.
Many talented people failed to recognize their talents for the rest of their lives, others quit because they think they can't make it or that they don't have the resources to manifest them and thus settle for the lives they don't want instead of taking responsibility of their lives and shoulder up the courage to face all the hurdles/setbacks/failures and overcome or learn from them in order to achieve what they want.
WHAT A TRAGEDY
I often sit down and think how wonderful the world could become if all those dreams become a reality.
Imagine how many good songs would have been produced, how many beautiful works of art would have been created, how many millions/billions would have been acquired, how healthy and peaceful the world would have become, how many inventions would have been invented.
But sadly, this is still a wish/dream we hope would one day become a reality.
