And it rung......
The alarm set for the ninth hour
Drawing living corpses to the square
An unnatural phenomenon to be shot out
For so great a destiny and strong a will.
Equipped with defence to all offence had to offer.
To bring from space the orb that would conjure up a revival
to the community from which it would be shot.
Geared up by the force of the entire world it went boom..!!
The launch, followed by an avalanche silenced the world.
Even silence seemed to listen to the gossip of the winds.
The journey had required..
All that the missile had acquired
A tribute to the Sun.
For a warm caress rather than a hot rough grip..
A flashlight for the nights.
An absorber for the frights.
A compass for directions.
As it went the clouds of pride
Covered the heart of the purpose driven.
"Oh how sweet it is to pride myself on such great a destiny"
It's carefulness washed away by the rain
"Oh the sun.. I can't find my tribute to the sun"
"Fortune" smiled at it.
It got to the sun at night.
With the stealth of a snake
Placed the compass and flashlight
"Tribute" given, problem "solved."
It groped, moped blindly
It's flight had become fright
When it was day, it saw blindly
And when it was night it was blind.
There was a thump.
It knew at once
It was already there
He could feel the smoothness
And it's happiness crossed boundaries
But for so special an orb
Requires so special a procedure
That needed instruments which it has squandered
To be able to acquire...
Still wandering in Oblivion
Wondering what went wrong
An asteroid it could not avoid
Defied his purpose, made it void
Struggling with itself, for itself, by itself, it came crashing down..
A bright light blinded it's blind eyes
Scorching heat followed
Realisation!!! "it was never asleep"
It only turned it's back.
Nothing could be done
For the "tribute" had fuelled the heat
And fate with it's aides had made the hit "The Missile" had met the sun
And it had no choice than to burn.
The fate of an unprepared destiny
