THIRTY-ONE (31) SALIENT FACTS ABOUT RAPTURE
This is one of those things people (clergy inclusive) never want to hear.
But it is a reality that cannot be ignored.
You will damn your soul if you ignore it; but. Now is the time to think seriously about it, and take heed.
To be fore warned is to be fore armed.
RAPTURE is going to be the next greatest event that will shake and shock all the continents of the world.
(Matt 24: 40-42).
It is going to take place suddenly, abruptly and unexpectedly; without warning and without prior notice.
(1 Thess 5: 2)
There will be no second version of rapture.
(1 Thess 5: 4).
A greater percentage of Christians may be taken unawares.
(Matt 24: 38-39)
Anybody (including Christians) who misses the rapture, will have no other similar gracious opportunity.
(Matt 13: 49-50)
The rapture will have no regard or respect for ecclesiastical titles or church leadership positions.
(Matt 5: 20).
The day of rapture will be the day when the sheep shall be separated from the goats.
(Matt 25: 32-33).
That day will differentiate between the 'Broad Way' Christians and the 'Narrow Way' Christians.
(Matt 7: 13-14).
The rapture will separate sincerity from hypocrisy.
(Gal 5: 21).
It will differentiate between those who harbour secret sins from those who abhor secret sins.
(Gal 5: 20-21).
That day will separate Christians (those whose lives are hidden in Christ) from charlatans (those who are hiding in the church under denominationalism).
(Luke 13: 27).
The day will show a glaringly clear and conspicuous demarcation between Christians (who walk on the path of holiness) and charlatans (those who walk on the path of worldliness, but pretending to be Christians).
(Heb 12: 14).
The day of rapture will be a day of double emotions - profound joy for true believers; but at the same time, unimaginable and nondescript sorrows for unbelievers. There will be terrible regrets for every one that neglected the Lord or that knew Him not.
(Luke 13: 28).
It will be a day of great surprises to all and sundry; whereupon, many “Big names” may miss the 'flight' while some “Less known” may be on board.
(1 Cor 1: 27).
Another great surprise of the day of rapture is that a man or woman who had faithfully served the Lord for many years, but deviated and defiled his or her garment, even just before the sound of the trumpet, will miss the 'flight;' while a notorious sinner, who had lived riotous life all his days, but repented and genuinely surrendered to the Lord, will be on board the 'flight.' What an irony! But God is not a respecter of persons; and so he that thinketh that he standeth must take heed.
(Ezekiel 3: 20).
The rapture may happen next year, this year, this month, this week, today or even Now.
(Matt 24: 36).
Christians (like the Five Wise Virgins that took extra oil), are counselled to get ready at all times.
(Matt 25: 1-13).
After the rapture, all those that nurse bitterness, malice, unforgiveness, jealousness, arrogance, hatered, or those who indulge in hypocricy, drunkenness, idolatry, fornication, adultery, murder (with weapons or with the tongue) etc, shall have enough time to continue in their trade.
(Heb 12: 14-15).
When the rapture will be over, there will be revival among those left behind; not because there will be a Second Chance for them, but because the reality of the event would strike them like thunderbolt and bring soberness upon them.
But they will have to pay with their own blood. Payment with the Blood of Jesus will be over.
(2 Tim 4: 3)
When the rapture will be over, those who will be left behind wil no longer be safe to worship in their gigantic, fanciful and multi-billion Dollars/Naira cathedrals.
They will seek safety in caves, bushes and solitary places; such as abandoned and dilapidated but hidden places.
(Rev 6: 15-17).
When this Great Event will be over, those left behind may gather to worship; but each time they gather (whether in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North or South America), their focus will only centre on “How to Meet the 'Divine Standard' so as to Join the Other Saints."
(Rev 14: 6-7).
WORTHY TO NOTE: Those who will be left behind will never have any business with comedians at their altars anymore; there will no longer be gatherings for entertainments. Gatherings will then be always and only for Serious Study of God's word (not even for 'religion' any more.
(Luke 21: 34).
The prayer pattern of those who will be left behind will also undergo radical change; they will no longer pray for things anymore (jobs, marriages, riches and materials, etc); but for strength to withstand the tortures of the Anti-Christ. They will then be willing and ready to die bravely, so as to join the Other Saints that went in the rapture.
(Rev 8: 3-4).
It is equally worthy of NOTE that some of those who will miss the rapture will not be able to endure the torture of the Anti-Christ; many will receive the Mark of the Beast and thereby be doomed forever.
(Rev 14: 9-11).
When the Ready Saints will be gone, all denominational walls of partition will collapse; only the body of Christ will stand and nobody will have to claim 'denominational superiority' anymore; everyone will then gird himself or herself as a 'soldier' of Christ fighting for the Kingdom of Christ against a common enemy (the devil).
(Eph 4: 1-6).
When the Rapture will be over, the gathering of believers (those left behind) will be only to worship the True Living God in an atmosphere of sobriety, and the rowdiness of the present age will be no more.
(1 Peter 4: 7; 5: 8).
There will also be a radical change towards the Bible, the word of God and Bible Study, in the attitude of those left behind. What we have now is attitude characterized by High Degree of nonchalance and indifference, but then Bible study will be taken very seriously.
(2 Tim 2: 15).
All the Teens and Youths who come to church to please their parents will repent after the rapure; or they perish. They will then seek God for themselves.
(Rev 19: 5; 20: 12).
When the event of Rapture will be over, all those who will do any form of business (in the schools, hospitals, banks, etc), will have to bear the Mark of the Beast (666) or be hunted down and killed like common criminals.
(Rev 13: 17).
One of the Gains of this Reminder is that there may be someone reading this piece today who will take a Firm Decision to ensure that he/she gets on Board in the 'Celestial Flight' travelling to Eternal Glory.
(Rev 2: 7, 11, 17, 29; 3: 6, 13 & 22).
However, one of the Greatest Tragedies of this Reminder is that there may be someone, too, who is reading this piece today but who will see No Need to heed this Warning. A tragedy indeed.
Heaven is real
It is good to always have it in mind that we are just here for a while. Heaven is our home, and rapture is indispensable according to the scripture.
